Senior Business Development Engineer

ZF Holding is seeking a hard-working and motivated Senior Business Development Engineer to join our growing team. The individual in this role will assist company growth and profitability through new customer acquisition, as well as by increasing current customer spend. This role requires personal drive, tireless persistence, and business strategy expertise. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Expand both the local and international market, maintain a good relationship with different business parties and clients
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Prospect for new business, developing relationships with builders, developers, property managers and others.
  • Represents Company at various events, organizations and associations for the purpose of building relationships that lead to new business.
  • Participates in various industry associations to increase knowledge of marketplace, sales opportunities, the competition, selling techniques and best practices.
  • Provide feedback to appropriate parties regarding, pricing, competition and other market observations. Exploits changing market opportunities and responds to competitor strategies.
  • Ensures all estimates are prepared and approved as needed prior to presenting to customer.
  • Responds to all inquiries and requests for bid in a timely manner.
  • Appointment scheduling, preparation, and presentation to clients.
  • Generation of new leads with the intention of creating more sales/revenue.
  • Lead and post-sale follow-up.
  • Maintaining positive customer relationships post-sale.
  • Eliciting continued and, ideally, increased spend with current customers.
  • Keep up with the marketing trend and develop marketing strategies to support the business expansion.
  • Work closely with other marketing teams and assist with the general marketing campaigns.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.

Key Performance Metrics

  • Actual sales to budget.
  • Close ratio on proposals presented.
  • Ratio of proposals submitted per month.
  • Accuracy and completeness of sales, customer, prospect database information
  • Development of loyal/repeat/referral customer base.
  • ROI per month.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/Interior Design.
  • 5-7 years proven working experience as a senior business development or a relevant role.
  • Must Have Recent Experience within the same field industry, in the same position.
  • Proven Track Records for Handling Commercial, Administrative, Retail and Residential, Fit-Out Projects for Architect Firm.
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Having a strong sales character, and ability to negotiate and understand numbers is vital.
  • Architecture / Interior background.
  • Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
  • Ability to understand Architectural CAD Drawings
  • Well knowledge of Photoshop
  • Sharp Knowledge of his/her tools, plans and where to start from.
  • Proven sales track record
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Bitrix24, Salesforce), knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe suit is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Motivation, perseverance, and determination qualities
  • A proven track record in strong presentation skills
  • The ability to close deals with clients, including cold leads
  • Experience in business-to-business sales at the corporate level preferred
  • An aptitude for research and analysis
  • Proficient in time management and personal organization
  • Flexible to work for extra time, if required
  • Ability to do multitasking
  • Problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • Proficiency in English
  • Owns a car is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
